THE HIGH PEAK BOROUGH COUNCIL (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) (MODIFICATION NO. 2) ORDER 2000

Notice is hereby given that, on 31st July 2000, the High Peak Borough Council made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to amend the High Peak Borough Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 1988, by replacing the existing charges applicable at the Market Car Park, Market Street, Buxton, the Market Place Car Park, Buxton, and the Slopes Car Park, Buxton, with the following: Up to 1 hour 40p; 1-2 hours 70p; 2-4 hours £1.50; Over 4 hours £3. The Order will come into operation on 7th August 2000. A copy of the Order is available for inspection during normal office hours at the Town Hall, Buxton, and the Council Offices, Hayfield Road, Chapel-en-le-Frith. If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 31st July 2000, being the date the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
