NOTICE OF CHANGES PROPOSED FOR A STATUTORY PLAN
TEESDALE DISTRICT LOCAL PLAN PROPOSED PRE-INQUIRY CHANGES

Notice is hereby given that Teesdale District Council have considered the representations made upon the deposit version of the above plan. The Council proposes to put certain proposed changes to the plan before the inspector at the public inquiry in September 2000. These changes are now advertised and representation on them is invited. If, and when, the plan is adopted, it will form part of the Development Plan for Teesdale District. The Development Plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.
The formal period for representation on these proposed Changes of the plan will begin on Wednesday 14th June 2000, and last for 6 weeks.
Copies of the proposed changes are available for public inspection at the Council Offices, Teesdale House, Galgate, Barnard Castle, County Durham DL12 8EL, free of charge on Monday to Thursday, 8.45 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, 8.45 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Objections to, and representations in respect of the proposed changes should be sent on the appropriate forms to Mr. K. Hughes, Head of Planning, Teesdale District Council, Teesdale House, Galgate, Barnard Castle, County Durham DL12 8EL, before 5 p.m., on Tuesday, 25th July 2000. Objections and representations should specify the changes to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They also may be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals.
Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the 6 week period ending on 25th July 2000, at 5 p.m., will have a right to have their counter objections considered at the local inquiry or hearing.
