NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT TO DISCHARGE FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 88

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 of the Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Environment Act 1995) that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Tanfield Angling Club, of 7 King Street, Mirfield, West Yorkshire WF14 8AW, for consent to discharge trade effluent from a trout hatchery into the River Ure, at National Grid Reference SE 263 781, West Tanfield, in the parish of West Tanfield, Hambleton, district of North Yorkshire.
Any person who wishes to make representations or objections with respect to the application, should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Coverdale House, Clifton Moor, York YO30 4GZ, for the attention of R. Midgley, not later than 4th May 2000.
A copy of the application and any map, plan and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at the local Environment Agency office at Coverdale House, Aviator Court, Clifton Moor, York YO30 4GZ, and at Woodside House, East Tanfield, Ripon, North Yorkshire, on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., up to 4th May 2000.
