TRANSFER OF GENERAL BUSINESS

Notice is hereby given that National Employers’ Mutual General Insurance Association Limited (in liquidation) applied to the Treasury, on, 31st January 2000, for its approval, pursuant to Part II, Schedule 2C of the Insurance Companies Act 1982, to transfer to AGF Insurance Limited all of its rights and obligations under certain policies written by it in the United Kingdom prior to 1st July 1990. Copies of the Statement of Particulars of the proposed transfer are available for inspection at AGF House, 500 Avebury Boulevard, Milton Keynes MK9 2LA, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (bank and other customary holidays in the City of London excepted) until 31st March 2000. Written representations concerning the transfer may be sent to The Financial Services Authority (F.S.A.), Insurance Directorate, 1 Victoria Street, London SW1H 0ET, before 31st March 2000. The F.S.A. will not determine the application until after considering representations made to it before that date.
