PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER SECTION 11 OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT 1990, PART 1

INTEGRATED POLLUTION CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Maybridge Chemical Company Ltd., has applied to the Environment Agency for an Integrated Pollution Control (IPC) authorisation to operate a manufacture and usage of organic chemicals process at Trevillett in the borough/district of Tintagel in the county of Cornwall. Information relating to the above IPC application for authorisation to operate the manufacture and use of organic chemicals process is held in registers at The Environment Agency, Rivers House, East Quay, Bridgewater, Somerset TA6 4YS, and Director of Housing and Environmental Services, North Cornwall District Council, Council Offices, Higher Trenant Road, Wadebridge, Cornwall PL27 6TW. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying. Any objections or representations to the above IPC application should be made in writing to The Environment Agency Devon Area Office, Exminster House, Miller Way, Exminster, Devon EX6 8AS, within 28 days from the date of this public notice. Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request. In this case there will be included in the register a statement indicating only that representations have been made which have been the subject of such a request.
