NEW ROADS AND STREETWORKS ACT 1991, SECTION 58

NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL ROAD WORKS

Three months advance notice is hereby given that Scott Wilson acting as agents to Highways Agency intend to carry out substantial road works.
The street in which these works will take place is the A5111 Mitre Island, Allenton, Derby.
Work is expected to affect the carriageway on Mitre Island and including all approach and departure legs for a distance of 200 metres.
Work is expected to commence on 10th January 2000.
The works notified will include the signalisation of the traffic island, together with carriageway resurfacing and road markings.
Subject to the exemptions in the Act and regulations under it, no street works may be executed for a period of 12 months from completion of the works described above, without the consent of the said Highways Agency which shall not be unreasonably withheld. Telephone: 01629 761761.
