Notice is hereby given that the Assembly Secretary for Environment and Local Government
proposes to make an Order under sections 1, 2 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
The effect of the proposed Order will be to prohibit at all times (with certain exceptions)
the stopping of any vehicle along any carriageways of the length of trunk road described
in the Schedule to this notice and prohibit trading from adjacent lay-byes and verges.
Copies of the proposed Order, relevant plan and statement of reasons for making the
Order may be inspected, free of charge, at the offices of Carmarthenshire County Council,
County Hall, Carmarthen during normal office hours.
Copies may also be obtained, free of charge, from the address below quoting the National
Assembly reference ZC 510-02-21-0003.
Objections, specifying the grounds on which they are made and quoting the above reference
must be sent in writing to the National Assembly for Wales, Highways Directorate,
RA3, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NQ, by 26th October 1999. In the preparation of an
objection and the statement of grounds of objection, it should be borne in mind that
the substance of any grounds of objection or representation may be communicated to
other people who may be affected by it.

That length of the trunk road at Carmarthen in the County of Carmarthenshire which
extends for 5.8 kilometres from its junction with Pensarn Roundabout in a general
north-easterly direction to Llangynnwr Roundabout and to Gwili Roundabout and then
in an easterly direction to its junction with the side road to Fronun at Whitemill.
