THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 671) ORDER 1999

HALLFIELD ESTATE ROAD

Notice is hereby given that the Westminster City Council, on 6th October 1999, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. The general effect of the Order will be to further amend the City of Westminster (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1976, so that in the lengths of the street specified in the Schedule to this notice, the hours during which the existing prohibition applies on: (a) waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods, or loading or unloading a vehicle) will be changed so that it will apply at any time; and (b) waiting by vehicles for more than 20 minutes in the same place for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods, or loading or unloading a vehicle will be changed so that it will apply between 11 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. throughout the week. The Order, which will come into force on 11th October 1999, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, are available for inspection between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at Parkman Ltd., Mountbarrow House, 6-20 Elizabeth Street, London SW1W 9RB, until 17th November 1999. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 17th November 1999. Schedule Hallfield Estate Road: (a) adjacent to Bridgwater House (i) the north-west side, between a point 15 metres south-west of the north-eastern wall of Bridgwater House and a point 20 metres south-west of that wall; (ii) the north-west side, between a point 3 metres north-east of the north-eastern most wall of Bridgwater House and a point 24 metres north-east of that wall; (b) adjacent to Brecon House: (i) the north-east side, between the south-east kerb-line of Hallfield Estate Road, (adjacent to Bridgwater House) and a point 3 metres south-east of that kerb-line; (d) adjacent to Winchester House: (i) the north-east side, between a point 13.5 metres north-west of the south-eastern wall of Tenby House and a point 79.5 metres north-west of that wall; (ii) the south-west side, between a point opposite the south-eastern wall of Winchester House and a point 5 metres north-west of that wall;
