THE HAVERING (PRESCRIBED ROUTE) (NO. 5) TRAFFIC ORDER 1999

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Havering, hereinafter called the Council, on 27th September 1999, made the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. The effect of the Order will be to provide a gated closure of Cornflower Way, approximately 5 metres south-west of the south-western wall of Nos. 26-28 Cornflower Way, prohibiting the passage of all vehicles except for pedal cycles and emergency vehicles. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 27th September 1999, together with a plan showing the location and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Directorate of Environment and Planning Reception, 7th Floor, Mercury House, Mercury Gardens, Romford. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
