THE SUTTON (DISABLED PERSONS’ PARKING PLACES) (NO. ) AMENDMENT NO. ) ORDER 199 . DS213
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton proposes to make the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. The principal objectives of this Order are that the proposed bays shall provide for disabled persons: (a) a parking facility where a high level of parking makes reasonable means of access difficult; (b) a parking facility in a local shopping area where parking regularly occurs making reasonable means of access difficult. The general effect of this Order will be: (i) to provide a parking place in which only vehicles displaying a disabled person’s badge may park in the following locations: (a) outside No. 8 Banstead Road, Carshalton, to operate at all times; (b) outside No. 295 Bishopsford Road, Morden, to operate at all times (fully on footway); (c) outside No. 90 Bramblewood Close, Carshalton, to operate at all times; (d) outside No. 139 Bramblewood Close, Carshalton, to operate at all times (partly on footway); (e) outside No. 15 Bramblewood Close, Carshalton, to operate at all times (partly on footway); (f) outside No. 19 Burgess Road, Sutton, to operate at all times; (g) outside No. 157 Glastonbury Road, Morden, to operate at all times; (h) outside No. 25 Grove Lane, Coulsdon, to operate at all times; (i) outside No. 64 North Street located in Denmark Road, Carshalton, to operate at all times; (j) outside No. 65 Osmond Gardens, Wallington, to operate at all times; (k) outside No. 29 Richland Avenue, Coulsdon, to operate at all times; (l) outside No. 26 Roche Walk, Carshalton, to operate at all times; (m) outside No. 43 Selby Road, Carshalton, to operate at all times; (n) outside No. 35 The Mount, Coulsdon, to operate at all times; (o) outside No. 9 St. James Road, Carshalton, to operate at all times (partly on footway); (p) outside No. 72 Walton Avenue, Carshalton, to operate at all times; (q) outside No. 47 Wigmore Road, Carshalton, to operate at all times (fully on footway); (r) outside No. 3 b Woodside Road, Sutton, to operate at all times; (ii) to revoke the disabled persons’ parking bays in the following locations: (a) outside No. 7 Sunningdale Road, Cheam; (b) outside No. 85 Halesown Road, Morden; (c) outside No. 50 Manor Lane, Sutton; (d) outside No. 48 Windsor Avenue, North Cheam. Full details of the proposals are contained in the following documents: (a) The draft Order; (b) plans showing the locations and extent of the disabled persons’ parking bays; (c) the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order.
