TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 NOTICE OF PROPOSED PRE-INQUIRY CHANGES FOR A LOCAL PLAN
CITY OF YORK COUNCIL LOCAL PLAN DEPOSIT DRAFT (MAY 1998)

Notice is hereby given that City of York Council are proposing changes to the above Plan. Copies of the proposals are available for public inspection, free of charge, at 9 St. Leonard’s Place, York, on Monday to Friday, from 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; The Guildhall, York, on Monday to Friday, from 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and at all public libraries within the district during normal opening hours. Objections to and representations in respect of the proposed changes should be sent in writing to Director of Environment and Development Services, City of York Council, 9 St. Leonard’s Place, York YO1 7ET, to be received on or before 24th September 1999. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made and may be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, approval or rejection of the proposals. It is important that objections and other representations relate to the 2nd set of Proposed Changes only, as further comments on the Deposit Plan (published May 1998) or the first set of Pre-Inquiry Changes (published March 1999) cannot be accepted at this stage. Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and sent to the address specified above within the 6 week period and received on or before 24th September 1999 will have a right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry due to commence on 23rd November 1999.
