THE TAUNTON DEANE BOROUGH (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) (VARIOUS STREETS IN TAUNTON) (NO. 57 AMENDMENT) ORDER 1999

PUBLIC NOTICE AFFECTING SILK MILLS ROAD, HERON DRIVE, ROBIN CLOSE, ROBIN CLOSE SERVICE ROAD, CHAFFINCH CLOSE, LINNET CLOSE, WREN CLOSE AND WREN CLOSE SERVICE ROAD, BISHOPS HULL

Notice is hereby given that Taunton Deane Borough Council proposes to make an Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1) and (2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time in the following lengths of road: Silk Mills Road, eastern side, from a point 20 metres south of the junction with Heron Drive northwards for a distance of 40 metres. Heron Drive, northern side: (i) from the junction with Silk Mills Road eastwards for a distance of 58 metres; (ii) from a point 70 metres from the junction with Silk Mills Road eastwards for a distance of 8 metres; (iii) from a point 106 metres from the junction with Silk Mills Road eastwards for a distance of 12 metres; (iv) from a point 142 metres from the junction with Silk Mills Road eastwards for a distance of 40 metres; (v) from a point 198 metres from the junction with Silk Mills Road eastwards for a distance of 58 metres; (vi) from a point 304 metres from the junction with Silk Mills Road eastwards for a distance of 52 metres. Heron Drive, southern side: (i) from the junction with Silk Mills Road eastwards for a distance of 25 metres; (ii) from a point 43 metres from the junction with Silk Mills Road eastwards for a distance of 23 metres; (iii) from a point 86 metres from the junction with Silk Mills Road eastwards for a distance of 21 metres; (iv) from a point 127 metres from the junction with Silk Mills Road eastwards for a distance of 8 metres; (v) from a point 156 metres from the junction with Silk Mills Road eastwards for a distance of 14 metres; (vi) from a point 191 metres from the junction with Silk Mills Road eastwards for a distance of 9 metres; (vii) from a point 225 metres from the junction with Silk Mills Road eastwards for a distance of 10 metres; (viii) from a point 253 metres from the junction with Silk Mills Road eastwards for a distance of 22 metres; (ix) from a point 291 metres from the junction with Silk Mills Road eastwards for a distance of 19 metres; (x) from a point 334 metres from the junction with Silk Mills Road eastwards for a distance of 8 metres. Robin Close, both sides, from the junction with Heron Drive southwards for a distance of 10 metres. Robin Close Service Road, both sides, from the junction with Heron Drive southwards for a distance of 10 metres. Chaffinch Close, both sides, from the junction with Heron Drive southwards for a distance of 10 metres. Linnet Close, both sides, from the junction with Heron Drive southwards for a distance of 10 metres. Wren Close, both sides, from the junction with Heron Drive southwards for a distance of 10 metres. Wren Close Service Road, both sides, from the junction with Heron Drive southwards for a distance of 10 metres. Heron Drive, Nos. 18-38, both sides, from the junction with Heron Drive southwards for a distance of 10 metres. Full details of the proposals are in the draft Order which, together with a map showing the location of the road and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected at The Deane House, Belvedere Road, Taunton, during normal office hours.
