NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Barrie Haigh, of Turville Court Estate, Turville Heath, near Henley-on-Thames, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from chalk aquifer at National Grid Reference SU 7543 9075 at Turville Court Estate, Turville Heath. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 1.8 cubic metres per hour, 33 cubic metres per day, 6,000 cubic metres per year, between January and December each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation and agricultural use at Turville Court Estate. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Turville Court Estate between 18th June and 19th July 1999. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Team Leader, Water Resources, Environmental Agency, Thames Region, West Area, Isis House, Howberry Park, Wallingford, Oxfordshire OX10 8BD, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
