HARBOURS ACT 1964
PROPOSED IMMINGHAM HARBOUR REVISION ORDER EXTENSION TO IMMINGHAM GAS JETTY

Notice is hereby given that Associated British Ports has applied to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions to make a Harbour Revision Order under section 14 of the Harbours Act 1964. The object of the proposed Order is to authorise an extension to the existing Immingham Gas Jetty including a new jetty together with a new dolphin, pipe supports and walkways and associated dredging. The Secretary of State has determined that this project falls within Annex II to Council Directive 85/337/EEC but whose characteristics require that it need not be made subject to an environmental assessment. A copy of the draft Order which accompanied the application and a copy of the plan and sections relating thereto may be inspected, at all reasonable hours, at the offices of Associated British Ports, at Port Office, Cleethorpe Road, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire DN31 3LL. A copy is also available for inspection between the hours of 0900 and 1600, Monday to Friday, either at the Ports Division of the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions, Great Minster House, 76 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DR, or at the address of the undermentioned Solicitors and Parliamentary Agents. Any person desiring to make an objection or representation to the Secretary of State concerning the application should write to Mr. K. M. Kiverstein, Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions, Ports Division, Zone 4/13, Great Minster House, 76 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DR (alternatively by fax addressed to Mr. Kiverstein and sent to 0171-676 2188 or by e-mail to keith_kiverstein@detr.gsi.gov.uk) within forty-two days from the date at the foot of this notice, quoting Ref.
