NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF PROPOSALS FOR THE ALTERATION OF A LOCAL PLAN BASILDON DISTRICT LOCAL PLAN
Notice is hereby given that Basildon District Council has prepared proposals for the alteration of the above plan. If, and when, these plan proposals are adopted they will form part of the development plan for Basildon District. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Copies of the proposals are available for public inspection free of charge on the days specified during normal office hours at: Planning Reception, First Floor, The Basildon Centre, St. Martin’s Square, Basildon (Monday to Friday); Billericay Area Housing Office, Mayflower House, Billericay (Monday to Friday); Laindon Area Housing Office, Clock House, 49 Laindon Centre, Laindon (Monday to Friday); Pitsea Area Housing Office, Northlands Pavement, Pitsea (Monday to Friday); Royal Court Area Housing Office, King Edward Road, Laindon (Monday to Friday); Vange Area Housing Office, 13 Southview Road, Basildon (Monday to Friday); Wickford Area Housing Office, Halls Corner, Wickford (Monday to Friday); Basildon Library, The Basildon Centre, St. Martin’s Square, Basildon (Monday to Saturday except Wednesday afternoon); Billericay Library, High Street, Billericay (Monday to Saturday, except Thursday afternoon); Fryerns Library, Whitmore Way, Basildon (Tuesday, Thursday morning, Friday and Saturday); Laindon Library, 48 Laindon Centre, Laindon (Monday to Saturday, except Wednesday and Friday afternoon); Pitsea Library, off Maydells, Pitsea (Monday to Saturday, except Wednesday afternoon and Thursday); Vange Library, Southview Road, Basildon (Monday to Saturday, except Monday and Wednesday); and Wickford Library, Market Road, Wickford (Monday to Saturday, except Wednesday). Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposals, should be sent in writing to The Manager of Planning Services, Basildon District Council, The Basildon Centre, St. Martin’s Square, Basildon, Essex SS14 1DL, before Monday, 26th July 1999. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals. Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the six week period ending on Monday, 26th July 1999 will have a right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry or hearing. Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposals If no objections to the proposals are received during the period given for making objections, Basildon District Council intends to adopt the proposals on the expiry of that period.
