ELEY ESTATE COMPANY LIMITED
The recent Extraordinary General Meeting approved rebuilding the roads and services on Nobel Road and Kynoch Road to adoptable standards. This would enable the Local Authority and London Borough of Enfield to adopt 85 per cent of the Company’s roads. This fundamental second stage would enable the Company to seriously consider and implement a dissolution strategy for the year 2006. As part of the scheme, it is intended to provide to adoptable standard a one-way road from Nobel Road to Kynoch Road and to make up the north/south part of Kynoch Road which will then become a one-way street from Nobel road to Eley Road and to close Eley Road between its junctions with Nobel Road and Kynoch Road. This notice follows the general principles of section 116 and Schedule 12, Part 1 of the Highways Act 1980.
