NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF PROPOSALS FOR THE DENBIGHSHIRE UNITARY DEVELOPMENT PLAN

Denbighshire County Council has prepared proposals for its Unitary Development Plan (UDP). Copies of the Plan, along with the Statement of Pre-Deposit Publicity and Consultation, are available for inspection, free of charge, during normal opening hours at any Denbighshire County Council office, One Stop Shop or library. Copies can also be bought from Planning Services office in Ruthin: Written Statement £15 (£17 by post), Proposals Maps £25 (£27 by post), Statement of Pre-Deposit Publicity and Consultation £5 (£6 by post), Environmental Appraisal Background Paper £5 (£6 by post). Other background papers are available free of charge. Public exhibitions/open days will be held between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. at the following locations: Ruthin—Assembly Room, Town Hall, Market Street, on Monday, 24th May 1999 Llangollen—Council Chamber, Town Hall, Parade Street, on Tuesday, 25th May 1999 Rhyl—Town Hall, Wellington Road, on Wednesday, 26th May 1999 Denbigh—Council Chamber, Town Hall, Crown Lane, on Thursday, 27th May 1999 St. Asaph—St. Asaph V. P. School, Upper Denbigh Road, on Tuesday, 1st June 1999 Prestatyn—Conference Room, Ty Nant, Nant Hall Road, on Wednesday, 2nd June 1999 Rhuddlan—Community Centre, Parliament Street, on Thursday, 3rd June 1999 Corwen—One Stop Shop, Neuadd Edeyrnion, London Road, on Tuesday, 8th June 1999 Objections to and representations in support of the Plan should be sent in writing, by letter, form, fax or E-mail by 6 p.m. on Monday, 5th July 1999, which is the last day of the 6 week public deposit period. Staff will be on hand at the Planning Services office in Ruthin until 6 p.m. on the last day of the Deposit period to enable representations to be hand delivered and stamped as having been received. Any representations delivered or handed in at other offices, during normal opening hours, must be stamped as having been received. Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and sent to the address specified below within the 6 week period ending on Monday, 5th July 1999, will have a right to have their objections considered at a subsequent local inquiry. Objections and representations should specify the matter to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made, and may be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval, or rejection of the proposals.
