NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 1

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Schedule 10 section 1 of the Environment Act 1995, that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Lancashire Waste Services Limited, to discharge a maximum of 713 cubic metres per day of trade effluent comprising site run-off discharged from a restored area of Rowley Landfill Site, Queens Park Road, Burnley, via a Settlement Pond and Reed Bed to the River Brun, at National Grid Reference SD 8568 3332.
Any person wishing to make representations about the application should do so in writing to M. Noblett, Authorisations Officer, The Environment Agency, PO Box 519, South Preston, Lancashire PR5 8GD, not later than Friday, 2nd July 1999, quoting Ref. C/40/P/99.
A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the Environment Agency, Lutra House, Dodd Way, Walton Summit, Bamber Bridge, Preston, Lancashire PR5 8BX, at all reasonable hours.
