THE EALING (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. ) ORDER 199
THE EALING (FREE PARKING PLACES) NO. 2) (AMENDMENT NO. ) ORDER 1999
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing, hereinafter
called the Council, propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and
124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended
by the Local Government Act 1985, the Road Traffic Regulation (Parking) Act 1986,
the Parking Act 1989 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.
The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order, would be to further amend the
Ealing (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1994, so as to impose waiting restrictions:
(a) operative at any time, on the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1 to this
notice;
(b) operative between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive on the
lengths of street specified in Schedule 2 to this notice;
Details of exemptions from the restrictions for certain vehicles and person, together
with restrictions on selling or advertising in a restricted street are contained in
the original Order of 1994.
The effect of the Free Parking Places Order would be to amend the Ealing (Free Parking
Places) (No. 2) Order 1997 to provide parking places, operative between 8 a.m. and
6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive on the lengths of streets specified in
Schedule 3 to this notice, where certain vehicles may wait, free of charge, for a
maximum period of one hour with no return to that same parking place for one hour.
Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Orders being amended, of the Council’s statement
of reasons for making the Orders and plans showing the locations and effects of the
Orders may be inspected druing a period of 21 days fom the date on which this notice
is published, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the address
given below.
Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders or make other representation
should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof
or of their representation to Parkman Consultancy, Transportation Section, 24 Uxbridge
Road, Ealing W5 2BP, within 21 days of the date on which this notice is published.

Schedule 1
Ruislip Road, Greenford
(a) the carriageway surrounding the island sites situated alongside the service road
fronting the allotment gardens and No. 157 Ruislip Road;
(b) the service road fronting the allotment gardens and No. 157 Ruislip Road, between
the south-eastern kerb-line of Verulam Road and a point 36 metres north-west of the
north-western boundary of No. 145 Ruislip Road;
(c) between the north-western kerb-line of Verulam Road and a point 10 metres north-west
of that kerb-line.
Verulam Road, the south-east side, between the south-western kerb-line of the service road fronting
the allotment gardens and No. 157 Ruislip Road and a point 10 metres south-west of
that kerb-line.
Schedule 2
Eastmead Avenue, Greenford
(a) the north-west side, between its junction with Ruislip Road and a point 16 metres
north-east of that junction;
(b) the south-east side, between its junction with Ruislip Road and a point opposite
the southern boundary wall of No. 8 Eastmead Avenue.
Schedule 3
Eastmead Avenue, the north-west side, from a point opposite the southern boundary of No. 8 Eastmead
Avenue south-westward for a distance of 23 metres.
Ruislip Road, Greenford, the south-west side of the service road fronting the allotment gardens
and No. 157 Ruislip Road;
(a) from a point opposite the south-eastern boundary of No. 104 Ruislip Road north-westward
for a distance of 40 metres;
(b) from a point opposite the north-western boundary of No. 145 Ruislip Road north-westward
for a distance of 36 metres.
