THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 634) ORDER 1999
DURHAM HOUSE STREET/JOHN ADAM STREET

Notice is hereby given that the Westminster City Council, on 19th May 1999, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. The general effect of the Order will be to further amend the City of Westminster (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1976, so that in the lengths of the streets specified in the Schedule to this notice, the hours during which the existing prohibition applies on: (a) waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle) will be changed so that it will apply at any time; (b) waiting by vehicles for more than 20 minutes in the same place for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle will be changed so that it will apply between 11 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. throughout the week. The Order, which will come into force on 24th May 1999, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Parkman Ltd., Mountbarrow House, 6/20 Elizabeth Street, London SW1W 9RB, until 30th June 1999. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 30th June 1999. Schedule Durham House Street: (a) the north-east to south-west arm, (i) the north-west side, between the south-western kerb-line (north-west to south-east arm) and a point 10 metres north-east of that kerb-line; (ii) the south-east side, between the north-eastern kerb-line (north-west to south-east arm) and a point 6.6 metres north-east of that kerb-line; (b) the north-west to south-east arm. John Adam Street: (a) the north-west side, between a point 5 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Durham House Street and a point 5 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Durham House Street; (b) the south-east side, between the north-eastern kerb-line of York Buildings and the south-western kerb-line of Robert Street. Robert Street, the south-west side, between the south-eastern kerb-line of John Adam Street and a point 4.5 metres south-east of that kerb-line. York Buildings, the north-east side, between the south-eastern kerb-line of John Adam Street and a point 26.6 metres south-east of that kerb-line. 20th May 1999.
