ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

(40 AND 50 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 1999

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under sections 84(1)(a) and (2) of and paragraph 27(1) of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which comes into operation on Monday, 17th May 1999.
The effect of the Order is as described in issue number 55388 of The London Gazette dated Thursday, 28th January 1999.
A copy of the Order, and the relevant plan have been deposited at Derby Central Library, The Wardwick, Derby DE1 1HS; Duffield Library, Wirksworth Road, Duffield, Derby DE56 4GH, where they may be inspected during normal working hours. A copy may also be seen at, or obtained by application to the Director, The Highways Agency, Northern Customer Services Division, Room 705, Sunley Tower, Piccadilly Plaza, Manchester M1 4BE, quoting reference HA28/015/008.
