NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Tower Laundry Service, of 1-2 Charnley Street, Mill Hill, Blackburn, Lancashire, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary Licence Serial No. 2671340047 to abstract water from borehole at National Grid Reference SD 6740 2666 at Tower Laundry Service, 1-2 Charnley Street, Mill Hill, Blackburn, Lancashire. The variation being applied for is to increase abstraction from 2.273 cubic metres per hour to 4.54 cubic metres per hour; from 18.184 cubic metres per day to 36.36 cubic metres per day and from 6,637.29 cubic metres per year to 13,274 cubic metres per year. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Tower Laundry Service, 1-2 Charnley Street, Blackburn, Lancashire, between 14th May 1999 and 14th June 1999. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Authorisations Officer, Environment Agency, PO Box 519, South Preston PR5 8GD, before the end of the said period.
