THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BEXLEY (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 199
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to
make an Order under section 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended,
the effect of which will be to vary the London Borough of Bexley (Off-Street Parking
Places) Order 1995, as follows: There will be added to the Order a new car park in
Stonewood Road, Erith, which will be available for use by the public on all days and
at all times (with charges from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. as set out below) and Sundays and
Bank Holidays without charge.

The car park at West Lodge, Bexleyheath will be deleted from the Order. A copy of
the draft London Borough of Bexley (Off-Street Parking Places) (Amendment) Order 199
proposed to be made, the London Borough of Bexley (Off-Street Parking Places) (Amendment)
Order 1997, the London Borough a Bexley (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 1995, and
a statement of reasons will be available for inspection until the expiration of a
period of 21 days from the date of this notice at (a) The Information Centre, Civic
Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB, during normal office hours, and (b) Erith Library,
Walnut Tree Road, during the normal opening times of the Library. Persons desiring
to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objections
and the grounds thereof to the Chief Engineer, London Borough of Bexley, Civic Offices,
Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB, within the above-mentioned period of 21 days. Persons objecting
to the proposed Order should be aware that in view of the Local Government (Access
to Information) Act 1985, the Council are legally obliged to make any comments received
in response to this notice open to public inspection.
