NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Matthew Murton and Suzanne Rees, of Crynfryn, Penuwch, Tregaron, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from The River Aeron, between National Grid References SN 5456 4363 and SN 5456 4167, at Llanllyr Farm and Tymawr Farm, Talsarn, Lampeter. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 34 cubic metres per hour, 272 cubic metres per day 27,200 cubic metres per year—between 10th April and 31st August each year. The water will be used for Spray Boom irrigation of lettuce and brassica crops. A copy of the application, and any map, plans or other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Llanllyr Farm, Talsarn, Lampeter, between 1st April 1999 and 1st May 1999. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Rivers House, St. Mellons Business Park, Cardiff CF3 0LT, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
