ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE A140 TRUNK ROAD (NEWTON FLOTMAN, NORFOLK) (40 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 1999

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under sections 84(1)(a) and (2) of, and paragraph 27(1) of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, on a length of the A140 Trunk Road at Newton Flotman in Norfolk. The effect of the Order is to impose a 40 m.p.h. speed limit on the A140 between points 95 metres south of its junction with the U78145 and 75 metres north of its junction with the U78128 and revoke the County Council of Norfolk (40 m.p.h. Speed Limit) (No. 3) Order 1970. A copy of the Order, together with copies of the Order to be revoked and a plan may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich; South Norfolk District Council, South Norfolk House, Swan Lane, Long Stratton, Norfolk; or obtained by application to the Highways Agency, Network and Customer Services (Midland), Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL.
