THE TAUNTON DEANE BOROUGH (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) (VARIOUS STREETS IN TAUNTON) (NO. 56 AMENDMENT) ORDER 1999
PUBLIC NOTICE AFFECTING DEANE GATE AVENUE

Notice is hereby given that Taunton Deane Borough Council proposes to make an Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1) and (2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time in the following lengths of road:
Deane Gate Avenue, on the western side from the junction with Blackbrook Park Avenue northwards for the whole length.
Deane Gate Avenue, on the eastern side:
(i) from the junction with Blackbrook Park Avenue northwards for a distance of 70 metres;
(ii) from a point 123 metres from the junction with Blackbrook Park Avenue northwards for a distance of 38 metres;
(iii) from a point 191 metres from the junction with Blackbrook Park Avenue northwards for a distance of 26 metres;
(iv) from a point 288 metres from the junction with Blackbrook Park Avenue northwards for a distance of 29 metres;
(v) from a point 335 metres from the junction with Blackbrook Park Avenue northwards for a distance of 31 metres;
(vi) from a point 417 metres from the junction with Blackbrook Park Avenue northwards for a distance of 20 metres.
Full details of the proposals are in the draft Order which, together with a map showing the location of the road and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected at The Deane House, Belvedere Road, Taunton, during normal office hours.
If you wish to object to the proposed Order, or make representations in support of the proposals, you should send your grounds, in writing, to reach the undersigned by 9th April 1999.
