THE KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA (BUS LANE) (NO.  ) TRAFFIC ORDER 1999
KING’S ROAD (SHALCOMB STREET TO BEAUFORT STREET) BUS LANE

Notice is hereby given that the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to, the Local Government Act 1985 and of all other powers thereunto enabling. The effect of the Order will be to bring into force the eastbound bus lane in King’s Road between Shalcomb Street and Beaufort Street operating during the hours of 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Mondays to Fridays. A copy of the proposed Order and all other relevant documents (including a relevant plan showing the proposed bus lane and the Council’s statement of reasons) may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published, at: (a) Local Studies Desk, Central Reference Library, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Wednesdays and between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturdays; (b) Planning Information Office, Room 325, The Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX between the hours of 9.15 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. on Mondays to Thursdays and between the hours of 9.15 a.m. and 4.15 p.m. on Fridays. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Transportation and Highways, The Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX, quoting Ref.
