THE BOROUGH OF TAMWORTH (TAMWORTH ROAD, AMINGTON [FLORENDINE PRIMARY SCHOOL] (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 1999

Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of Tamworth, pursuant to arrangements made under section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972, with the County Council of Stafford in accordance with sections 1(1), 2(1), (2) and 3(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act, propose to make an Order, the effect of which is to restrict the waiting of vehicles on Tamworth Road, Amington, on its north-western side, 17 metres south-west of a point drawn opposite the centre line of its junction with Florendine Street, for a distance of 50 metres in a south-westerly direction, Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. to 9. 30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 4 p.m. A copy of the draft Order together with a plan showing the affected lengths of roads and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order may be examined at Marmion House, Lichfield Street, Tamworth, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Mondays to Fridays. If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing to the undersigned by 12th April 1999. C.
