Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield, on 15th March 1999 made: (a) the Enfield (Residents’ Parking Places) (Arnos Grove) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 1) Order 1999; (b) the Enfield (Residents’ Parking Places) (Bush Hill Park) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 1) Order 1999; (c) the Enfield (Residents’ Parking Places) (Enfield Town) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 1) Order 1999; (d) the Enfield (Residents’ Parking Places) (Grange Park) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 1) Order 1999; (e) the Enfield (Residents’ Parking Places) (Oakwood) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 1) Order 1999; (f) the Enfield (Business Parking Places) (Arnos Grove) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 1) Order 1999; (g) the Enfield (Business Parking Places) (Bush Hill Park) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 1) Order 1999; (h) the Enfield (Business Parking Places) (Enfield Town) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 1) Order 1999; (i) the Enfield (Business Parking Places) (Grange Park) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 1) Order 1999; (j) the Enfield (Business Parking Places) (Oakwood) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 1) Order 1999; under sections 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The effect of the Residents’ Parking Places Orders for Arnos Grove, Bush Hill Park and Grange Park will be to increase the charge: (a) for the issue of a 12-month Residents’ permit to £20; (b) for the issue of a 12-month Community Health Staff permit to £10; (c) for the issue of a 12-month Social Services Staff permit to £10; (d) for the issue of a 12-month Special Permit to £50; (e) for the issue of a 12-month Carers permit to £20; (f) (i) to £3 in respect of the supply of 10 Residents’ Visitor Parking Cards; (ii) to £6 in respect of the supply of 20 Residents’ Visitor Parking Cards; (iii) to £9 in respect of the supply of 30 Residents’ Visitor Parking Cards; (iv) to £12 in respect of the supply of 40 Residents’ Visitor Parking Cards; (v) to £15 in respect of the supply of 50 Residents’ Visitor Parking Cards. 3. The effect of the Residents’ Parking Places Order for Oakwood will be to increaase the charge: (a) for the issue of a 12-month Residents’ permit to £20; (b) for the issue of a 12-month Community Health Staff permit to £10; (c) for the issue of a 12-month Social Services Staff permit to £10; (d) for the issue of a 12-month Special permit to £50; (e) for the issue of a 12-month Carers permit to £20. 4. The effect of the Residents’ Parking Places Order for Enfield Town will be to increase the charge: (a) for the issue of a 12-month Residents’ permit to £50; (b) for the issue of a 12-month Community Health Staff permit to £10; (c) for the issue of a 12-month Social Services Staff permit to £10; (d) for the issue of a 12-month Special permit to £50; (e) for the issue of a 12-month Carers permit to £50; (f) (i) to £6 in respect of the supply of 10 Residents’ Visitor Parking Cards; (ii) to £12 in respect of the supply of 20 Residents’ Visitor Parking Cards; (iii) to £18 in respect of the supply of 30 Residents’ Visitor Parking Cards; (iv) to £24 in respect of the supply of 40 Residents’ Visitor Parking Cards; (v) to £30 in respect of the supply of 50 Residents’ Visitor Parking Cards. 5. The effect of the Business Parking Places Orders for Arnos Grove, Bush Hill Park, Grange Park and Oakwood will be to increase the charge for the issue of a 12-month Business permit to £40. 6. The effect of the Business Parking Places Order for Enfield Town will be to increase the charge: (a) for the issue of a 3-month Business permit to £145; (b) for the issue of a 12-month Business permit to £540. 7. A copy of the Orders, which will come into operation on 1st April 1999, of the Enfield (Residents’ Parking Places) (Arnos Grove) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Order 1997, the Enfield (Residents’ Parking Places) (Bush Hill Park) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Order 1994, the Enfield (Residents’ Parking Places) (Enfield Town) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Order 1994, the Enfield (Residents’ Parking Places (Grange Park) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Order 1994, the Enfield (Residents’ Parking Places) (Oakwood) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Order 1994, the Enfield (Business Parking Places) (Arnos Grove) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Order 1997, the Enfield (Business Parking Places) (Bush Hill Park) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Order 1994, the Enfield (Business Parking Places) (Enfield Town) (Special Parking Area) ( No. 1) Order 1994, the Enfield (Business Parking Places) (Grange Park) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Order 1994 and the Enfield (Business Parking Places) (Oakwood) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Order 1994, (and of the Orders which have previously amended or applied those Orders) and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected at the Reception Desk, “B” Block, the Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex EN1 3XD, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made. 8. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from Traffic Engineering, the Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex EN1 3XD. 9. Any person desiring to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. Charges for Residents’ Visitors Parking Cards for Oakwood are similar to those shown in paragraph 2(f) above. The proposals were published on 11th December 1998, as part of the introduction to a Visitors Parking Card facility in Oakwood. An Order was made in respect of those proposals on 8th February 1999. Note 2 . The Council gave notice of its proposals, on 6th January 1999, to increase charges for Residents’ Permits, Community Health Staff Permits, Social Services Staff Permits, Special Permits, Carers’ Permits, Residents’ Visitor Parking Cards and Business Permits. Following objections which were considered by the Council on 11th March 1999, the Council decided to proceed with the proposals as originally advertised. Therefore Orders have been made in respect of the proposals. 15th March 1999.
