HIGHWAY VERGE AT REAR OF BROOK HOUSE, CHURCH LANE, LIGHTHORNE, WARWICK

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Warwickshire) (No. 1) Order 1999” authorising the stopping-up of highway verge at rear of Brook House, Church Lane, Lighthorne, Warwick. The Order as made, will authorise the Stopping-up only to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted by Stratford-on-Avon District Council on 10th February 1998 under reference S97/1668. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the West Midlands at the offices of the Director, Planning, Transport and Environment, 77 Paradise Circus, Queensway, Birmingham B1 2DT (quoting 5077/35/1/30), and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Warwick Library, Barrack Street, Warwick CV34 4TH. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of 10th March 1999, apply to the High Court for the suspension or the quashing of the Order or of provision contained therein.
