NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that W. Parker, of Holmes Farm, Gallows Lane, Ribchester, Preston, Lancashire, is apply to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a borehole at National Grid Reference SD 6584 3595, at Holmes Farm, in the district of Dutton, Lancashire. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 4.55 cubic metres per hour, 11.36 cubic metres per day, 4,147.73 cubic metres per year. The water will be used for agricultural purposes and domestic purposes. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Holmes Farm Gallows Lane, Ribchester, between 12th March 1999 and 18th April 1999. Any person who wishies to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Lutra House, Doddway, off Seedlee road, Bamber Bridge, Preston PR5 8XB, before the end of the said period.
