THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (PARKING PLACES) (NO.  ) ORDER 199  THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO.  ) ORDER 199 

Notice is hereby given that the Westminster City Council propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. The general effect of the Parking Places Order would be to redesignate certain 4 hour metered parking to provide access to garages on the north-east side of Foscote Mews. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order would be to further amend the City of Westminster (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1976, so that in the lengths of the streets specified in the Schedule to this notice, the hours during which the existing prohibition applies on: (a) waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle) would be changed so that it would apply at any time; (b) waiting by vehicles for more than 20 minutes in the same place for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle would be changed so that it would apply between 11 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. throughout the week. In respect of the metered parking places, the classes of vehicle for which they would be available, the hours during which they would operate, the parking penalty charge, and all the times during which vehicles may be left in the parking places would remain unchanged. The proposed Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection between 9 a.m .and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at Parkman Ltd., Mountbarrow House, 6-20 Elizabeth Street, London SW1W 9RB, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decide not to make the Orders. Any objections or other representations about either of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, Parkman Ltd., Mountbarrow House, 6-20 Elizabeth Street, London SW1W 9RB, quoting Ref. 22453/WES1504/ORD/2021/djc within the above-mentioned period of 21 days. Schedule Amberley Road: (a) the north-west side between a point 3.5 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Foscote Mews and a point 2.8 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Foscote Mews; Foscote Mews, (a) the north-east side; (i) between the south-eastern kerb-line of Sutherland Avenue, and a point 5 metres south-east of that kerb-line; (ii) between a point 20 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Sutherland Avenue and a point 42 metres south-east of that kerb-line; (b) the south-west side. 8th March 1999.
