NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that J.M. Cottingham & Son, of Cliff Farm, Normanby Cliff, Lincoln LN2 3AE, are applying to the Environment Agency for licence to abstract water from the Snitterby Beck between National Grid References SK 9787 9466 and SK 9828 9480 in the parish of Snitterby, Lincolnshire. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 57 cubic metres per hour, 1,368 cubic metres per day and 41,000 cubic metres per year between January and March each year. The water will be used for filling a sealed storage reservoir and then subsequently for spray irrigation. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Cliff Farm, Normanby Cliff, Lincoln, between 12th March and 10th April 1999. Any persons wishing to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Waterside House, Waterside North, Lincoln LN2 5HA, before the end of the said period.
