NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Brett Aggregates Limited, of Warwick Lane, Rainham, Essex RM13 9EP, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from bore hole at National Grid Reference TQ 550 827 at Rainham Quarry, Warwick Lane, Rainham, Essex RM13 9EP. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 8.18 cubic metres per hour, 436.4 cubix metres per day, 20,000 cubic metres between October and November each year. The water will be used for topping up the wet pit. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Warwick Lane, Rainham, between 29th March 1999 and 30th April 1999. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Thames Region, Kings Meadows House, Kings Meadow Road, Reading RG1 8DQ, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
