PARKING AMENDMENTS
LANCASTER GATE WARD PARKING STUDY

Notice is hereby given that the Westminster City Council propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The general effect of the Parking Places Order would be to:
(a) provide additional residents’ parking space in Cleveland Terrace, Craven Hill, Craven Hill Gardens, Dawson Place, Devonshire Terrace, Gloucester Mews, Ilchester Gardens, Inverness Terrace, Lancaster Gate, Porchester Terrace, Prince’s Square, Queensborough Terrace, Queen’s Gardens and St. Petersburgh Place;
(b) provide additional 4-hour shared use parking space in Leinster Gardens;
(c) provide additional 2-hour ticket metered (pay and display) parking space in Lancaster Gate;
(d) convert 2-hour metered parking space in Ilchester Gardens, Inverness Terrace, Moscow Road and Prince’s Square to residents’ parking space;
(e) convert 2-hour metered parking space in Cleveland Square and Moscow Road to 2-hour shared use parking space;
(f) convert 2-hour ticket metered (pay and display) parking space in Gloucester Terrace to 2-hour shared use parking space;
(g) convert 2-hour metered parking space in Craven Terrace and Moscow Road to 2-hour ticket metered (pay and display) parking space;
(h) convert 4-hour metered parking space in Caroline Place to residents’ parking space;
(i) convert 4-hour metered parking space in Craven Hill Gardens and Lancaster Gate to 4-hour shared use parking space;
(j) convert 4-hour ticket metered (pay and dispay) parking space in Lancaster Gate to 4-hour shared use parking space;
(k) convert 4-hour metered parking space in Salem Road to 4-hour ticket metered (pay and display) parking space; and
(l) formalise the position which currently exists on the ground in relation to parking places in Cleveland Gardens, Cleveland Square, Craven Hill, Craven Hill Gardens, Gloucester Terrace, Hereford Road, Leinster Gardens, Lombardy Place, Orme Court, Palace Court, Porchester Terrace, Prince’s Square, Queensborough Terrace, Queen’s Gardens, St. Petersburgh Place and Westbourne Crescent.
The classes of vehicles for which the parking places would be available, the hours during which they would operate and all time limits during which vehicles may be left in those parking spaces would remain the same as for other similar parking places in the immediate vicinity.
Copies of the proposed Order, of the City of Westminster (Parking Places) Order 1968, and of the Orders which have amended or applied that Order), of plans which indicate the locations and effects of the Order and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing the make the Order, can be inspected during office hours on Mondays to Fridays until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, in One Stop Services, City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London SW1E 6QP.

Any objections or other representations about any of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, The Project Centre Limited, 61-71 Collier Street, London N1 9BE, quoting Ref. PCL/PM/LB32/141/1323, within a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published. All objections or representations must specify the grounds on which they are made.
