NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF PROPOSALS FOR THE ALTERATION OF THE UNITARY DEVELOPMENT PLAN

The Council of the London Borough of Newham have prepared proposals for the alteration of the above plan. Copies of the proposals for alteration and other relevant documents are available for public inspection, free of charge, for six weeks from Monday, 8th March 1999, until Monday, 19th April 1999, during normal opening hours at the following deposit locations: Environmental Engineering Division, Town Hall Annexe, First Floor, Barking Road, East Ham, London E6 2RP; The Stratford Library, Water Lane, London E15 4NJ; East Ham Library, High Street South, London E6 4EL; North Woolwich Library, Albert Road, London E.16; Canning Town Library, Barking Road, London E16 4HQ; Custom House Library, Prince Regent Lane, London E16 3JJ; Green Street Library, 337-341 Green Street, E13 9AR; Beckton Library, 1 Kingsford Way, London E.6.; Forest Gate Library, Woodgrange Road, Forest Gate, London E.7.; Manor Park Library, Romford Road, Manor Park, London E.12.; Plaistow Library, North Street, London E.13. Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposals for alteration should be sent in writing to The Head of Environmental Engineering, Freepost, Newham UDP, London E6 2RP (no stamp necessary), before Tuesday, 20th April 1999. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made, and may be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals for alteration. Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and sent to the address specified about within the six week period ending on Monday, 19th April 1999 will have a right to have their objections considered at a local enquiry. Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposals for Alteration If no objections are received during the period given for making objections the London Borough of Newham intend to adopt the proposals on the expiry of that period.
