ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 23

Notice is hereby given pursuant to section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that North Yorkshire County Council proposes to install 3 puffin crossings at the locations detailed below:

Puffin Crossing—Bedale Road, Leeming Bar

Parish/District Road Location
Leeming Bar, in the District of Hambleton A684 Bedale Road At a point approximately 45 metres to the west of its junction with Leeming Lane, between St. Augustine’s Church and the playground.
A copy of the plan showing the precise location of the crossing may be inspected at Room 15, County Hall, Northallerton, and at the Leeming Bar Business Unit, 41 Northallerton Road, Leeming Bar, Northallerton, North Yorkshire DL7 9AL, during normal office hours.

Puffin Crossing—Topcliffe Road, Thirsk

Parish/District Road Location
Thirsk, in the District of Hambleton B1448 Topcliffe Road At a point approximately 10 metres to the south of its junction with Green Lane, between the Primary School and No.68 Topcliffe Road.
A copy of the plan showing the precise location of the crossing may be inspected at Room 15, County Hall, Northallerton, and at the Thirsk Divisional Office, Norby Depot, Norby, Thirsk, North Yorkshire YO7 1BH, during normal office hours.

Puffin Crossing—South Parade, Northallerton

Northallerton, in the District of Hambleton A167 South Parade At a point approximately 105 metres to the south-west of its roundabout junction with the High Street and Thirsk Road, between the Dental Surgery and Fir Lodge Court.
