THE BOROUGH OF CONGLETON (BOX LANE, CONGLETON) (30 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 1999

Notice is hereby given that the Congleton Borough Council, pursuant to arrangements made with Cheshire County Council, propose to make an Order under sections 82(2)(b) and 83(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended). The effect of the proposed Order will be to introduce a maximum speed limit of 30 m.p.h. on Box Lane, Congleton along its full length, by removing the old 40 m.p.h. speed limit. A copy of the Order and a map showing the road concerned, together with the Order to be revoked and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected at Congleton Information Office and “Westfields”, Middlewich Road, Sandbach, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the undersigned by Monday, 8th February 1999. A.
