THE BOROUGH OF CONGLETON (CONGLETON ROAD, SANDBACH) (40 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 1999

Notice is hereby given that the Congleton Borough Council, pursuant to arrangements made with Cheshire County Council, intend to make an Order under section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be that no person shall drive a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 40 m.p.h. on the length of Congleton Road, Sandbach from the existing 30 m.p.h. limit to the junction of Old Mill Road and Congleton Road. The draft Order, together with a map showing the road concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, may be inspected at the Information Office, “Westfields”, Middlewich Road, Sandbach, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the undersigned by Monday, 8th February 1999. A.
