NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY LICENCES TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that G R & P Easton, of Engine Farm, Wisbech Road, Coates, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire PE7 2DT, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licences to abstract water as follows: 1. Licence serial number 6/33/53/S/594 to abstract from the Twenty Foot River, Whittlesey Dyke and drains of March & Whittlesey IDB at Wypedoles Farm and between TL 339 964 and TL 340 964, the Twenty Foot River and drains of Whittlesey IDB, at Engine Farm and Kingsland Farm, the North Western Cut at Iron House Farm, Bevills Leam at TL 255 918, drains of Ramsey 4th IDB at Letall Farm, the New Dyke and drains of Holmewood & Stilton IDB at Corneys Farm, drains of Yaxley IDB at Halfway House Farm, drains of Ransonmoor DDC at TL 381 918 and TL 380 913, drains of Benwick IDB between TL 365 904 and TL 368 903 and at TL 375 906, Yaxley Lode and drains of Whittlesey IDB at Lords Farm, drains of Ramsey 4th IDB between TL 261 899 and TL 263 899, TL 260 895 and TL 266 894, Whittlesey, Farcet, Ramsey, Holme, Yaxley, and Doddington parishes, Huntingdonshire and Fenland districts, Cambridgeshire. The variation being applied for is to add further areas of land on which spray irrigation may be applied and to add abstraction from drains of Whittlesey IDB between TL 226 945 and TL 232 939, TL 233 938 and TL 238 934, Farcet parish, drains of Drysides IDB between TL 228 972 and TL 233 964, TL 231 968 and TL 235 970, Whittlesey parish, Fenland district, Cambridgeshire. The abstraction rates remain unchanged. 2. Licence serial number 6/33/53/S/617 to abstract water from the Twenty Foot River, Whittlesey Dyke and drains of March and Whittlesey IDB at Wypedoles Farm and at TL 340 964, the Twenty Foot River and drains of Whittlesey IDB at Engine Farm and Kingsland Farm, the North Western Cut at Iron House Farm, Bevills Leam at TL 253 917, drains of Ramsey 4th IDB at Letall Farm, the New Dyke and drains of Holmewood & Stilton IDB at Corneys Farm, drains of Yaxley IDB at Halfway House Farm, drains of Ransonmoor DDC between TL 381 918 and TL 380 913, drains of Benwick IDB at TL 367 904, TL 367 901 ant TL 375 906, Kings Dyke and drains of Whittlesey IDB at Horsey Grange Farm, Buntings Farm, Fields End Bridge Farm, at TL 238 934 and TL 239 942, Yaxley Lode and drains of Whittlesey IDB at Lords Farm, drains of Ramsey 4th IDB at TL 262 899, TL 261 895 and TL 266 894, Whittlesey, Farcet, Ramsey, Holme, Yaxley, Stanground and Doddington parishes, Huntingdonshire and Fenland districts, Cambridgeshire. These abstractions are subject to compensatory discharges being made from Must Farm Pit into Kings Dyke at TL 237 967, Whittlesey parish. The variation being applied for is to increase the daily rate of abstraction to 4,000 cubic metres per day (as licensed until 30th September 1998), add further areas of land on which spray irrigation may be applied and add abstraction from drains of Whittlesey IDB at TL 227 944, TL 231 940, TL 234 937, TL 234 935 and TL 238 934, Farcet parish, Kings Dyke at TL 235 966, drains of Drysides IDB at TL 232 969 and TL 232 965, Whittlesey parish, Fenland district, Cambridgeshire. All other abstraction rates remain unchanged and the summer water resources will be unaffected. A copy of each application and any map, plan or other document submitted with them may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Wypedoles Farm. Angle Bridge, Benwick Road, Whittlesey or 45 Orchard Farm, Kings Delph, Whittlesey between 16th January 1999 and 13th February 1999.
