THE LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK (CYCLE LANES) (NO.  ) TRAFFIC ORDER 1999
NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO MAKE A TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDER

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Southwark proposes to make the above-mentioned Order.
The proposed Order would be made under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.
The general effect of the Order would be to introduce cycle lanes along Southampton Way, at the junctions of:
(a) Cottage Green
(b) Harris Street
(c) Wells Way
(d) Coleman Road
(e) Peckham Grove
A copy of the proposed Order, of plans, and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the end of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at Southwark Regeneration & Environment Department, Council Offices, Chiltern House, Portland Street, London SE17 2ES.

Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof, to the Director of Regeneration & Environment, Council Offices, Chiltern House, Portland Street, London SE17 2ES, quoting Ref. PR/JS/T3.0, within the aforementioned period of 21 days.
