The Ealing (Free Parking Places) (No. 2) (Amendment No.  ) Order 199 

Noticie is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing, hereinafter called the Council, propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985, the Road Traffic Regulation (Parking) Act 1986, the Parking Act 1989 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.   The effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order would be to further amend the Ealing (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Order 1994 so as to:   (a) impose waiting restrictions, operative at any time, on the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1 to this notice;   (b) impose waiting restrictions operative between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, on the lengths of street specified in Schedule 2 to this notice.   Details of exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order of 1994.   The effect of the Free Parking Places Order would be to amend the Ealing (Free Parking Places) (No. 2) Order 1997, to provide parking places, operative between 8 a.m. and 6.30 p.m., on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, on the length of street specified in Schedule 3 to this notice, where certain vehicles may wait, free of charge, for a maximum period of one hour with no return to that same parking place for one hour.   Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Orders being amended, of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders and plans showing the locations and effects of the Orders may be inspected during a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at BRETS Reception, 24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing W5 2BP.   Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders or make other representation should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to the Engineering Services Manager, BRETS, 24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing W5 2BP, within 21 days of the date on which this notice is published. Schedule 1

   Belvue Close, between its junction with Ealing Road and a point 10 metres north of that junction.    Belvue Road, between its junction with Ealing Road and a point 10 metres east of that junction.    Court Farm Road, between its junction with Ealing Road and a point 10 metres east of that junction.    Ealing Road, Northolt:   (a) between a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 235 and 237 Ealing Road, and a point 28 metres north of that party wall;   (b) the carriageway surrounding the island site fronting Nos. 1 to 3 Station Parade, Ealing Road;   (c) the west and south-west side;       (i) between the south-eastern kerb-line of Mandeville Road, and a point 11 metres south of the southern kerb-line of Belvue Road;       (ii) between a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 217 and 219 Ealing Road, and a point 10 metres north of that party wall;   (d) the east and north-east side;       (i) between the south-eastern kerb-line of Mandeville Road, and a point 71 metres north of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 209 and 211 Ealing Road;       (ii) between a point 5 metres south of the common boundary of Nos. 209 and 211 Ealing Road, and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 213 and 215 Ealing Road.

Schedule 2

  Ealing Road, the west and south-west side, between a point 10 metres north of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 217 and 219 Ealing Road, and a point 11 metres south of the southern kerb-line of Belvue Road.

Schedule 3

   Ealing Road, the east side;   (a) from a point opposite the boundary wall of Nos. 209 and 211 Ealing Road, southward for a distance of 5 metres;   (b) from a point opposite the boundary wall of Nos. 209 and 211 Ealing Road, northward for a distance of 42 metres and at an angle of 45° to the kerb;   (c) from a point 42 metres north of a point opposite the boundary wall of Nos. 209 and 211 northward for a distance of 29 metres. 27th November 1998.
