Notice under paragraph 6 of Schedule 15 to the Friendly Societies Act 1992

Notice is hereby given that application has been made to the Friendly Societies Commission for confirmation of the transfer of engagements of Free Gardeners Friendly Society whose registered office is at Free Gardeners House, 11 Middlewich Road Sandbach, Cheshire CW11 1DH, to the Druids Sheffield Friendly Society, whose registered office is at Dove House, 181 Brampton Road, Wath-upon-Dearne, Rotherham, South Yorkshire S63 6BE. The Friendly Societies Commission intends to hear oral representations in accordance with Schedule 15 to the Friendly Societies Act 1992 with respect to the application from interested parties on 7th December 1998. Any interested party has the right to make written representations or give notice of their intention to make oral representations to the Commission at Victory House, 30-34 Kingsway, London WC2B 6ES, on or before 16th November 1998. It would be helpful if the nature of the oral representations could be stated.
