Notice of the issue of a Submarine Pipe-line Works Authorisation
The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry hereby gives notice that he has decided to issue, and in consequence has issued, a works authorisation to be held by Amerada Hess Limited, whose address is 33 Grosvenor Place, London SW1X 7HY, for the construction of (1) a system of pipes associated with the Bittern Field; (2) a system of pipes associated with the Guillemot West and North West Fields; and (3) a gas export pipeline between the Triton Project FPSO and the Gannet Divertor number two on the Fulmer Gas Pipeline. Except with the consent of the Secretary of State, the gas-export pipe-line shall only be used to convey natural gas and the infield pipe-lines shall only be used to convey: methanol; scale inhibitor; wax inhibitor; corrosion inhibitor; biocide; production fluids; natural gas and water. The pipe-lines may be used by the holder and with the holder’s agreement, and with the consent of the Secretary of State, by other persons.
