AVATAR IMPERIUM INTERNUM
(“Avatar”)

By Order of the Chancery Division of the High Court of Justice made on 22nd January 1998, in an action in the matter of Avatar, (1) Patrick Terence O’Kelly de Conejera, (2) Ambrose Appelbe, (3) Iris Von Kervitzer, and (4) Alan Peter Hampson, Plaintiffs against (1) Pamela Sandra Mary Harvey Webb (2) Barbara Oldfield and (3) Lieutenant-Commander Douglas A L Merry (deceased), Defendants, CH 1996 O No. 950, it was directed that Notice of the Dissolution of Avatar by the Court on 18th July 1997, and of the intention to distribute the funds of Avatar in accordance with the provisions of a scheme approved by the Court pursuant to the said Order shall be advertised in The London Gazette and the advertisement shall contain the Notice hereinafter set out.

Notice is hereby given that all persons claiming to be entitled to participate in the distribution of the funds of Avatar shall apply to the Court at Royal Courts of Justice, The Strand, London WC2A 2LL, for leave to be made a party to the said action on 48 hours written notice to Ambrose Appelbe of 7 New Square, Lincoln’s Inn, London WC2A 3RA, the Solicitors for the Plaintiffs, such application for leave to be made within 2 calendar months after the date of publication of the edition of The London Gazette containing this Advertisement, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of the said Order unless the Court on application otherwise orders.
