Notice of application for consent for the purposes of section 88

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 to the Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Environment Act 1995) that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Yorkshire Water Services Ltd., 2 The Embankment, Sovereign Street, Leeds LS1 4BG, for a consent to discharge sewage effluent under storm/emergency conditions from a combined sewer overflow at Dick Lane and sewage effluent under storm/emergency conditions from a sewage pumping station at New Lane, Thornbury, Bradford, into an unnamed tributary of Tyersal Beck at National Grid Reference SE 1972 3327.   Any person who wishes to make representations or objections with respect to the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, North East Region, Phoenix House, Global Avenue, Leeds LS11 8PG, for the attention of Darryl Toothill, not later than 6th August 1998.   A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the Environment Agency Offices at Phoenix House, Global Avenue, Leeds LS11 8PG, on weekdays up to 6th August 1998, between 9 a.m and 5 p.m. D.
