Highways Act 1980, Section 116

The Stopping-up of Highway adjacent to Higher Farm, Kellaton in the county of Devon

Notice is hereby given that the Devon County Council intend to apply to the Kingsbridge Magistrates’ Court under section 116, Highways Act 1980, for the stopping-up of the highway described in the Schedule to this notice on the grounds that it is unnecessary. The application is to be heard on Wednesday, 22nd July 1998, at 10 a.m. in the Kingsbridge Magistrates’ Court, at The Court House, Quay House, Kingsbridge, Devon. The effect of the Order sought will be to prevent all traffic passing over the land described in the Schedule hereto and shown on the map annexed to the proposed Order, which may be inspected, free of charge, at Room G42, County Hall, Exeter, (Ref.   That part of the highway passing through and to the north-west of the premises known as Higher Kellaton Farm, Kellaton, in the county of Devon shown coloured red on Drawing No. ISH/0196 annexed to the proposed Order. 19th June 1998.
