Notice of application for a licence to abstract water

Take notice that G E & D Watson of Mill Hill Farm, Darsham, Saxmundham, Suffolk, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from Minsmere River at National Grid Reference TM 431 679 at Middleton.   The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 100 cubic metres per hour, 2,400 cubic metres per day, 45,000 cubic metres between October and March each year. The water will be used for filling a winter storage reservoir and subsequent spray irrigation.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Prime Irrigation Ltd., Trustans Farm, Westleton Road, Darsham, Saxmundham, Suffolk IP3 9JE, before the end of the said period.
