Notice of application for a licence to abstract water

Take notice that Farnham Golf Club Limited, of The Sands, Farnham, Surrey GU10 1PX is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from the Hythe Beds at National Grid Reference SU 8843 4646 at the north end of Bridgevear Hill, The Sands, Farnham Golf Club. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 21 cubic metres per hour, 500 cubic metres per day, and 60,000 cubic metres per year between 1st April and 30th September each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the Office, Farnham Golf Club between 22nd June 1998 and 20th July 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Water Resources Officer SE Area, Kings Meadow House, Kings Meadow Road, Reading RG1 8DQ, before the end of the said period.
