PETROLEUM AND SUBMARINE PIPE-LINES ACT 1975 Notice of the issue of a submarine pipe-line works authorisation

The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry hereby gives notice that he has decided to issue, and in consequence has issued, a works authorisation to be held by Arco British Limited, whose address is London Square, Cross Lanes, Guildford, Surrey GU1 1UE, for the construction of a 219.1 millimetre pipe-line and a chemical injection umbilical between the Deben Field and the Thames AR platform.   Except with the consent of the Secretary of State, the 219.1 millimetre pipe-line shall only be used to convey natural gas/condensate and the chemical injection umbilical shall only be used to convey methanol and hydraulic fluid.   The pipe-lines may be used by the holder and with the holder’s agreement, and with the consent of the Secretary of State, by other persons.   Arco British Limited has been appointed operator of the pipe-lines.
